Where do I begin?  A friend referred me to Mrs. April Jack when my daughter was 5 weeks old.  I knew I had to find a source of childcare, but my standards were high.  Needless to say, being a first time mom, I was petrified at the thought of leaving my baby with a stranger.  Mrs. April certainly changed all of that, even on my daughters first day at Heaven’s Light, at 8 weeks old, till now; 3 years old.  Heaven’s Light has not only become the child care of my dreams, but also a second family who never cease to offer loving, kind, and encouraging words, the children love their daytime home in Mr. and Mrs. Jack’s their 2 sons, Ms. Tita Calnack and a bundle of happy kids.  The children love Tita, and she has a soft spot for each one of the children.  Tita and Mrs. April do an outstanding job teaching the basics of preschool all while enjoying 2 healthy meals and snack.  My daughter was counting to 20 at just the age of 2!  To sum it up, what more could I ask for in a childcare service?  I thank God everyday for allowing my child to be a part of such a healthy, gently and structured environment.  We LOVE Heaven’s Light! -Victoria

“3 1/2 years ago when I set out on a journey to find a safe, loving, nurturing, learning/play based child care provider, the nervousness & anxiety set in. Interview after interview, tour after tour the anxiety worsened. Thinking that i had come to a dead end, a good friend of mind and my child’s god mother referred me to April Jack with Heaven’s Light Child Care. Upon speaking with April, a mother’s intuition kicked in and said “this might just be it”, then after actually meeting with April and touring her lovely in home daycare I became overjoyed & knew right then this was the place for my son.
Now fast-forward 3 1/2 years later, I’m just as impressed and enthused as on my first meeting. Heaven’s Light offers balance of learning & play; currently my child is able to speak some words in Spanish, use sign language & is able to read by the use of word recognition along with an array of other developmental methodologies.
